Research for my magazine-1

The first magazine I will be doing research on is Essence magazine. Essence magazine was created in 1970. This magazine was created in tribute to black woman. It had several sections including fashion, beauty, home decor, etc. It was created to give black woman a voice and to bring some more representation to people who are constantly misrepresented or not represented at all. They produce six issues annually. This magazine covers criminal justice issues and gives career advice to women.
